Opening Day at the Kansas City Royals
We are always thrilled to be part of the Kansas City Royals events. With the stadium still under construction, we were there with banners and installation for opening day. Dairy Farmers of America and Blacktop Creative

Blacktop Creative in Kansas City Missouri was the sole event organizer for the DFA National Convention and selected Digigraph Xpress to print many of the elements for Dairy Farmers of America 10th Anniversary Annual Meeting at the downtown Hyatt Regency Kansas City, March 18-19, 2008. 

1,200 members and guests attended the Cooperative’s 10th Annual Meeting, paying tribute to DFA’s first decade and focusing on the future of the national milk marketing cooperative, with the theme, “Ten Years and Building.”

For the project, Digigraph Xpress employed many elements of printing and custom details using a variety of materials and formats.

For the Main stage:

~HUGE Dye Sublimated Fire Retardant Banners for the Main Stage Drapes
These were 336” x 22ft in length with no liner, due to lighting requirements. With full vibrant color and flowing presentation, they were just right.

~Oversized 16 ounce Backlit Double Strike Vinyl
Circular Banner was 10 ft across, stretched and recess mounted to a custom Backlit hanging “Medallion” frame unit. Unit weighed 600 lbs. total with lighting and was approx 6-7” in dimensional depth.

~Mounted and Laminated Gatorboard Podium Wraps and Logo
Four color digital printed pieces mounted to 3/16" black gatorboard, with custom router to shape for dimensional standoff graphic and custom install hinging.

For the Main Entrance:

 
~Oversized Cut Out Figures
Collage of router and hand cut graphics. Individual figures were Ink Jet Mounted custom prints with Luster laminate and mounted to 3’16” black gator with custom wood frames for each of
the backer panels. Space used above the doors was 30” deep x 65” height x 32ft approx in width.  

For the Lobby and throughout the venue:

   
~Custom 9 Mil Matte Poly Graphic Banners
These banners were two sided and two sizes and were slid over the hanger arms of special adjustable banner hanging frames. The banners were 18” width + 26” width and height was 122”. All were special taped for exact height and leveling when installing.

~Grand Format 13 Ounce Vinyl
Banners for Lobby Identification areas as well as expansive and striking graphic presentation across the entire width of the lobby area. 88 ft banner lengths x 17” and 30” for the heights for the banners.

~Custom Router Cut Letters for DFA Logo
Four color digital printed pieces mounted to 3/16" black gatorboard, with custom router to shape for dimensional standoff graphic.

For the Hall Area:

     

~Repostionable Vinyl
Custom Cut Routered Graphics. Wall graphics were placed on hotel convention area wall. Repositionable vinyl will not affect the paint or finish of the area. We used special removable double adhesive pads for mounting of the photos and the Large Dimensional Plaque Graphic.

~Window Decals
We used the clear removable lo-tak Duravinyl for DFA corporate logo window graphics, printed and custom cut to shape. We mounted them in the windows as well. Easy to remove once the event is over...leaves no adhesive.
 
~Custom installs
Banners, graphics, mounted dimensional oversized cutouts and other event coordination.
